Belgium, Leuven, 17 July 2008 – CAPVIDIA NV presents results of testing computer Barcelona (submitted by NIAGARA Distribution Company) on problems solved with FlowVision-HPC (v3.06) CFD software.

NIAGARA Distribution Company has kindly provided a 1U-server based on 4-core processors AMD of Barcelona kind to the FlowVision developers for testing this machine. The sever contains 4 processors Quad Ñore AMD Opteron 8347, 1.9 Ghz (http://www.supermicro.com/Aplus/system/1U/1041/AS-1041M-T2.cfm).

Its total memory is 56 Gb. At CAPVIDIA NV, the server was named Barcelona by the name of the processors. The current press-release presents some results obtained on this computer.
