The V-39 Albatross – the world’s first three axis controlled sail boat, is being designed to break the world speed sailing record with the help of Capvidia technologies combined with Capvidia’s expertise in the area of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Multiphysics simulations.

Capvidia’s product FlowVision HPC simulates the aerodynamic and hydrodynamic behavior. It also combines the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for the structural design to carry out a full Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) simulation to optimize the design of the V-39 Albatross.

FlowVision was named the winner by the Council of experts of The Russian Innovation contest.

New site regarding BPF pressure pulsations is opened on the10th of March 2010. Here one can read articles about 2d and 3d computational tests by the Acoustic Vortex Method. One can subscribe to RSS, to see new articles every time they will be added. The site is going to be renewed constantly. There will be added some links to order appropriate software tools for BPF numerical modeling.
